About Us

Debbie Patrick has been drawing and designing Victorian Homes cross-stitch designs and Victorian Homes for over 30 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, beginning in 1972 with simple pencil sketches of the Victorian row houses in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury and Western Addition.

Largly self taught, her architechural renderings and Victorian House cross- stitch designs of over 150 of America's unique Victorians have made her one of the best known architectural designers in the country.

"I started out selling watercolored lithos and cross-stitch designs as a street artist to help pay for my husbands schooling, and the next thing I knew we had bought an old San Francisco Queen Anne tower house and we were busy renovating it from the ground up. In fact we took on two condemned Victorians at the same time-one with half its roof missing, which meant I had to sell a lot of lithos and cross-stitch to help pay for the remodeling. Things got a bit easier when we opened the store on Pier 39."

This store, full of whimsey and Victorian, features aisle after aisle of Debbie's designs in watercolored lithos, cross-stitch, fabric art, miniatures, notecards and stationary, Christmas items, Dimensional Designs and other unique products. This year will see the introduction of 12 new cross-stitch designs, as well as a new line of lithographs and Dimensional Designs.

"I'm lucky to be able to earn a living doing what I enjoy; she said in a recent interview. "I get to play at being the architect and builder of some of the loveliest old homes and buildings in America."
